Another road trip was enjoyed on Thursday, March 20, going from Tulsa to Oklahoma City. We stopped in Stroud, Oklahoma to see the small cafe that inspired the Sally character in the movie "Cars" and the small town in the movie. The actual cafe and town were really lame. It was really just a quick stop on the 105 mile trip to OKC. Once in OKC, we stopped at Subway to eat lunch and then on to the Oklahoma Science Museum (formerly the Omniplex). It was fun being there, but not as fun as the first time when we went last year. Raegan did a lot of gymnastics stuff at the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in the Museum. She also had fun playing at the huge treehouse area. We couldn't leave OKC without going to the Oklahoma City Federal Building Bombing Memorial. It was good seeing that. Nichole really enjoyed it. A tree that was behind the federal building still stands there, with one side still black and burned from the explosion through the building. The day ended at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill restaurant in Bricktown, OKC. The food and fun there is always great!
