Today, Nichole and I worked on one of our numerous house projects that has needed to be completed for 10 months - the shifting of our wood floors. Ever since we put down the wood floors, there have been gaps at the end of planks from the contraction and shifting of them. Dirt, pet hair, sand, and whatever else drops into those gaps, not to mention how crappy they make the floor look. We moved furniture outside and shoved the planks together and filled in the leftover gaps against one wall with foam and caulk. It should now expand and contract with the temperature and not leave gaps where they can be seen. So, this was our 1st Spring project of the year 2008. I am sure there will be many more projects to come throughout this Spring and Summer.
